As we approach the end of the season and portfolio’s slowly start to shift towards media prospects and transfer rumours for the summer, we’ve now got a brilliant feature for all premium members of IndexGain.
We’ve added a new premium channel called #rumours_premium showing all the latest player transfer rumours with links to sources all consolidated along with a rumour rating (low/medium/high).
Here’s an example of the alert you will see, in this case it’s an article about Radamel Falcao:
You can see from the above that the rating is “low” for this rumour – if there were more articles from more credible sources the rating would increase.
A high rumour means the rumour has been reported by a number of sources and the credibility of those sources are high.
Rumours only appear when there are more than two sources reporting it, this saves having to publish 1000+ rumours a day with no substance behind them.
TIP: Premium traders can set up keyword alerts in this rumour channel to be alerted about any rumours for players they own or have on their watchlist. See this guide to setting up notifications.
BuzzBot pulls in articles from around Europe, so have your “translate” button or app handy.
Here’s an example about Brandt being linked to Liverpool.
TIP 2: Don’t forget to use the MyList feature on Slack to add players to a watchlist which you can run price move reports against (see YouTube video). You could discover a rumour where the player hasn’t yet budged in price.
We’ve got more features coming up for premium members to take transfer rumours and summer transfer trading to the next level so stay tuned for more details soon.
